I've had a penchant for creating art of all kinds for the better part of my life. As a youngster, you could find me playing sports, reading comics, going fishing, and of course...drawing!

My teen years were marked with creating art in the form of photography, music, assemblage, acrylic painting, and woodworking. Though interested mostly in form and shape, the chase for color began as I started recognizing the natural beauty found everywhere in nature.

There was a 'seriousness' in oils that always intimidated me...but the texture, the vibrance, and the dynamics that oils afford an artist are why I have worked only with oils since 2014.

I work out of my home studio in Liberty, Missouri alongside my wonderful wife and 4 children. Through my work, I strive to pique a viewer's curiosity, evoke a viewer's sense of optimism, and ultimately represent God's handiwork to the best of my ability.
