When I view the work of artists I admire (of which there are many!), I constantly ask myself, "how'd they do that?" As much as I love seeing the final product, I find myself most curious about the process; choices in color, how mistakes are handled, and the techniques used to achieve varying brushstrokes.

A misconception about painting specifically is that every project is a keeper. In fact, for every one piece that makes it out of my studio, there's probably 4 or 5 that are shoved into my storage room so I can reuse the canvas! There's no rhyme or reason to any of the photos featured on this page, I only wish to share a glimpse of projects as they are in progress.
